However, between the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s, which was a period of economic development and of the impact of the post-conciliar process, the seminaries and novitiates were decimated by a crisis of religious vocations. Using historical sources, statistical records and qualitative fieldwork, this article explores both historical moments, the explosion of vocations and the crisis during the sixties, in order to analyse the causes of the emptying of seminaries and novitiates from the sixties onwards. For this purpose, the term "plausibility structure" is used to show that this drastic change was not only due to a sum of factors, but to a profound transformation that undermined the sociological foundations of some religious structures. As an epilogue, a reflection on the subsequent evolution of seminaries and novitiates is included, showing that what was experienced in the late sixties and early seventies was not a one-off crisis, but rather a structural crisis that continues to date, in an increasingly secularised and plural Spain. | ||

Cependant, entre la fin des années 1960 et le début des années 1970, période de développement économique et d'impact de la période postconciliaire, on constate une crise des vocations religieuses, qui décime les séminaires et les noviciats. À l'aide de sources historiques, de relevés statistiques et d'un travail de terrain qualitatif, cet article étudie les deux moments historiques, l'explosion des vocations et la crise des années 1960, afin d'analyser les raisons de cet abandon des séminaires et des noviciats à partir de ces années. À cette fin, le concept de " structure de plausibilité " est utilisé pour montrer que la profonde transformation du recrutement des vocations sacerdotales n’est pas seulement due à une somme de facteurs, mais à un profond changement de contexte qui a sapé les fondements de certaines structures religieuses. En épilogue est développée une réflexion sur l'évolution ultérieure des séminaires et des noviciats, montrant que ce qui a été vécu à la fin des années 1960 et au début des années 1970 n'était pas une crise ponctuelle, mais plutôt une crise structurelle qui se poursuit aujourd'hui, dans une Espagne de plus en plus sécularisée et plurielle. | ||

Sin embargo, entre finales de los años sesenta e inicio de los setenta, periodo de desarrollismo económico y de impacto del posconcilio, se produjo una crisis de las vocaciones religiosas, que diezmó los seminarios y noviciados. A partir de las fuentes históricas, los registros estadísticos y un trabajo de campo cualitativo, el presente artículo realiza una exploración de ambos momentos históricos, explosión de vocaciones y crisis durante la década de los sesenta, a fin de analizar las causas del vaciamiento de seminarios y noviciados a partir de los sesenta. Para ello, se utiliza el término "estructura de plausibilidad" a fin de mostrar que la profunda transformación no sólo se produjo por una suma de factores, sino por un profundo cambio de contexto que socavó las bases de ciertas estructuras religiosas. A modo de epílogo, se incorpora una reflexión sobre la posterior evolución de seminarios y noviciados, que muestra que lo experimentado a finales de los sesenta e inicios de los setenta no fue una crisis puntual, sino más bien una crisis estructural que continúa hasta la fecha en una España cada vez más secularizada y plural. | ||
