Par ailleurs, justifié par le référent biblique, le magistère énonce une doxa qui, à son tour, justifie dans le corps social un autre discours sur le sexuel. S’exerce là un pouvoir tu et d’un grand jouir : contrôler les âmes en quête de salut. Ce pouvoir premier, nodal, ne peut s’abstraire du corps où palpite l’âme. Alors parfois, naît de ce truchement, lieu de jouissance vive et seconde, l’abus. | ||

These crimes reflect the violent dehumanisation of perpetrator and victim, reinforced by mutual silence. Through a culture of secrecy, the Church reinforces the secrecy that guarantees peace for the rapist, ignores the victims, and sustains the institution. At the same time, justified by appeals to scripture, the Magisterium enunciates a doxa which, in turn, justifies a particular social discourse concerning sexuality. In this way, a power is exercised that is of considerable import: the control souls in search of salvation. This primal, vital power cannot be abstracted from the body in which the soul trembles; sometimes, abuse is born of this intermediation, a place of palpable control and secondly a place of abuse. | ||
