Some have considered the possibilities of union or fusion with another institute, some have sought a renewed emphasis on creating a culture of vocation in their communities, some have explored the possibility of fostering new forms of religious life within or aggregated to their in stitute, or the possibility of developing a group of lay associates imbued with the spirit and charism of their institute. Some institutes have chosen one or more of these options and found them to be a source of renewal and energy for a period of time. Increasingly, however, institutes are asking what their options might be if none of these brings the renewal they had sought and if they now see themselves moving toward the historical fulfillment of their institutes life journey. | ||
