AB On May 21, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI approved modifications to the Normae de gravioribus delictis, reserved to the Congregation for the Doctr􀀉ne of the Faith. The new document contains modifications to both the substantial and the procedural norms found in the original text of Sacramentorum sanctitatis tutela. The materials reprinted below include the Letter from His Eminence Cardinal William Levada to the Bishops, Ordinaries and Hierarchs of the Catholic Church, a brief Introduction to the Modifications, and the Substantive and procedural Norms in Latin and English.
