Cette traduction annotée est précédée d'une introduction présentant la transmission et le contenu de ce sermon en l'honneur du protomartyr Étienne. Si, jusqu'à présent, les spécialistes n'étaient pas parvenus à se prononcer sur l'authenticité du texte, un examen attentif permet de conclure qu'il s'agit probablement d'un pseudépigraphe. This article offers a French translation of an Armenian homily ascribed to Eusebius of Emesa (bishop 340-359), entitled In S. Stephanum (CPG 3535). This annotated translation is preceded by an introduction detailing the transmission and contents of this sermon in honour of the protomartyr Stephen. Until now, scholars have been unable to reach a conclusion as to the authenticity of the text, but close examination has led to the conclusion that it is probably a pseudepigrapha. |
