AB Este artigo aborda o livro de Rute a partir de três aportes: a Teologia Feminista com a suspeita e a categoria de gênero para descortinar tanto violências como protagonismos; a análise da narrativa para uma caracterização de Rute que mostrou a construção de uma personagem exemplar; e, finalmente, sob a ótica do conceito de diaconia. Apresentamos uma aproximação do entendimento teológico sobre diaconia, para mostrar que a relação entre Rute e Noemi, sua sororidade e agência podem ser entendidas dentro dessa perspectiva, o que nos mostra que os valores diaconais propagados nos Evangelhos já estavam presentes na teologia popular pós-exílica.
AB This article approaches Ruth's book from three perspectives: Feminist Theology with the suspicion and category of gender to reveal both violence and protagonism; the analysis of the narrative for a characterization of Ruth that showed the construction of an exemplary character; and, finally, from the perspective of the concept of diakonia. We present an approximation of the theological understanding of diakonia, to show that the relationship between Ruth and Naomi, their sisterhood and agency can be understood within this perspective, which shows us that the diaconal values propagated in the Gospels were already present in post-exilic popular theology.
