| Summary: | Ausgehend von einem Überblick über die extrinsezistischen und potenziell gewaltförmigen Konsequenzen, die mit einem Verständnis von Offenbarung als Mitteilung propositionaler oder moralischer Gehalte einhergehen, wird in diesem Artikel ein performatives Verständnis des Kommunikationsprozesses von Offenbarung vorgeschlagen. Die grundlegende These lautet, dass es im Geschehen der Offenbarung nicht um die Mitteilung von Inhalten, sondern die Transformation der beteiligten Ko-Akteure geht. Starting with an overview of the extrinsecistic and potentially violent consequences of concepts of revelation that understand this event as a communication of propositional or moral content, this article suggests a performative reading of the communicative process of revelation. The thesis is that divine revelation is not about the communication of contents, but the transformation of the involved co-actors. |
