| Summary: | Das finnische katholisch-lutherische Dialogdokument Communion in Growth. Declaration on the Church, Eucharist, and Ministry (Wachsende Gemeinschaft. Erklärung über Kirche, Eucharistie und Amt) und die US-amerikanische Declara- tion on the Way 2 sind jene beiden offiziellen kirchlichen lutherisch-katholischen Dialogdokumente, die darauf abzielen, die Formulierung einer Gemeinsamen Erklärung über Kirche, Eucharistie und Amt zu fördern. Lokale und regionale Dia- loge können zum internationalen Dialog beitragen, aber sie können ohne die internationale Koordination gemeinsamer Anstrengungen auf der Ebene der Welt- gemeinschaften keine entscheidenden Durchbrüche erzielen. Eine Möglichkeit, Feedback zu erhalten, besteht darin, Aussagen zu der bereits geleisteten Arbeit zu erbitten. Daher wurde zum Dialogdokument Wachsende Gemeinschaft sowohl von der römisch-katholischen als auch von der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland so- wie von der katholischen und lutherischen Kirche in den USA ein schriftliches Feedback angefordert. Aufgrund des Ruhestands der verantwortlichen Person und der Covid-Pandemie wurde die Antwort aus Amerika jedoch nie abgeschlossen, obwohl der Vorbereitungsprozess begonnen wurde. Die hier vorgelegte Analyse bezieht sich daher auf die eher positiven katholischen und die eher kritischeren lutherischen deutschen Reaktionen. The article analyses the positive Catholic and more critical Lutheran German responses to the Finnish Catholic-Lutheran dialogue document Communion in Growth: Declaration on the Church, Eucharist, and Ministry (2017). The statement of the ecumenical commission of the German Catholic Bishops' Conference sees that individual doctrinal questions to the church's sacramentality, eucharistic communion, and the ministry of bishop and ordination are analysed thoroughly using the method of a differentiated consensus. The statement challenges the Finnish dialogue partners to continue their dialogue regarding the ordination of women from the perspective of mutual recognition and an ecumenically acceptable renewed Petrine Ministry. The ecumenical study committee of the LWF German National Committee (GNC) likewise prepared a statement. The GNC statement acknowledges that 'Communion in Growth' is an expression of high ecumenical engagement. The obvious differences in the interpretation of the Lutheran doctrinal heritage make it clear that an internal Lutheran clarification concerning these issues and questions is necessary. Many of the perceptions seem to follow a certain tendency which makes the conclusions misleading. The ultimate wish to formulate the conclusions using a more inclusive language is worth reflecting on. |
