La categoria di "tentazione" fu ricondotta da Marcione a una delle manifestazioni dispotiche del Dio dell'Antico Testamento, contrapposta alla bontà misericordiosa del Dio di Gesù Cristo sicché, nella dialettica della contrapposizione, gli autori ortodossi, tralasciando l'originaria semantica legata all'apocalittica giudaica, assimilarono le prospettive dell'avversario rielaborandole con esiti diversi. | ||
