Item Description:The Hague, an inlet of the Elizabeth River and yacht basin. So named by the citizens of Norfolk because of their kindly feeling for Holland at time of signing of the Treaty of Ghent. The church facing the Hague is an example of Gothic architecture and declared by many architects to be one of the most beautiful churches in the United States
