| Item Description: | Corner South Church and East Henry Street Bethel had its early beginning in 1856, and in 1885 a frame building was erected on Hampton Avenue. In 1907 the church was moved to South Church Street, and the present sanctuary was completed in 1953 with the addition of the new educational facilities completed in 1967 |
