Item Description:2nd Street North of Market The oldest Episcopal edifice in the city. Although this Church dates back only as far as 1727, there has been an Episcopal Church on this site since 1695. In this church Washington worshipped, and his pew is marked for visitors to see. Benjamin Franklin also attended services here and many famous early Philadelphians lie buried within it's walls
