NO St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 300 Queen St., Northumberland, PA 17857, was first built in 1817 and the present building in 1878. For a century this beautiful sanctuary has been "calling the young and old to rest, calling the souls of men distressed, longing life ever-lasting." (Photograph, December 1978)
