Description
Item Description:The Riverside Church, in the City of New York, is at Riverside Drive and 122nd Street. The Nave of the Church and the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Tower were opened for worship and use in October, 1930. The South Wing was completed and dedicated in December, 1959. The Cathedral of Chartres, France (built A. D. 1195-1260) was the inspiration for the French Gothic architecture of the building. The tower houses a carillon of 74 bells
