This reredos or altar backdrop was built at the request of Don Jose Antonio Ortiz in 1798. Restoration in 1955 included the cleaning of the oil paintings that were certainly in the Oldest Church before 1776. The wood carvings are Old Spanish and Spanish Colonial |
