Item Description:The Indian Church at Sandia was built several hundred years ago by Spanish missionaries and services are still held there. The pueblo occupies a gentle rise from the bottom lands on the west bank of the Rio Grande. It may easily br seen as the train approaches the small station of Alameda, a short distance above Albuquerque. The population is about 150
