Item Description:The Pueblo of Isleta is situated 13 miles South of Albuquerque, one of the most modern of Indian Pueblos being about 300 years. Population 1300 and is not decreasing. Owing to its nearness to the Santa Fe mail line and Albuquerque, the Indians prove an interesting sight to visitors and readily purchase from their own hands pottery and other articles that these Indians manufacture
