Item Description:Another historic church in the city of beautiful churches, Wilmington, N.C. St. John's was first organized and built on the corner of Third and Red Cross Church that preferred to build a new church rather than disturb the architecture of St. James'. James and John were brothers so the new church was named St. John's. 100 years ago after the first St. John's was built this new St. John's was built in the Eastern suburban section of Wilmington in 1955
