Item Description: | Tremont Temple traces its origin back to 1839. The present building, the fourth to be erected on this site, was dedicated in 1896. The famous D. L. Moody described the church as "the pulpit of America." We are privileged to have you worship with us. Tremont Temple seeks to offer a spiritual ministry vital to our times. Our Converse Hall, shown here, is one of the largest and most beautiful auditoriums in New England. The great 98 stop Casavant organ is seen in the center of the picture. Be assured always of a cordial welcome by this congregation |
