The war of the Seven Reductions, in which the Guarani Indians had risen up against the Jesuits in Paraguay and Argentina, had taken place from 1754-1756. - Anonymous pamphlet in which the author accuses the Jesuits of corruption and ruling in an absolutist regime in which the Indians were deprived of rights and liberties, such as the right to own property and govern themselves. The author gives a list of abuses and crimes against the Indians and mentions that many of the native Indians were forced to leave their own lands.
