Item Description:T.p. printed red with, in black, woodcut ornamental frame and 3 ill. (city gate with dimensions, 2 half-length male figures). - At head of title: Mirabilia Rome. - Originally published: Rome : Per Jacobum Mazochium, 1510, with title: Opusculum de mirabilibus novae et veteris urbis Romae. - Imprint from colophon. - Leaves 1-4, 58 and 60 unnumbered; leaf 59 misnumbered 56. - In addition to the ill. on t.p., there are woodcut initials, and woodcut ill. on leaves 2v, 3v and 3r depicting ecclesiastics; a cut on leaf 4v depicting St. Jerome; and on leaf [60]v two cuts, one depicting a pope and other ecclesiastics, the other depicting the arms of the reigning Pope Leo X (despite the dedication to Julius II, retained from the 1st ed.). - Reference to Amerigo Vespucci ("Albericus Vespulsius Flo.") on recto of final leaf, in section entitled: De laudibus civitatum Florentie et Saonensis
