Therefore, we identify the competencies of individuals seeking to develop social innovation, based on a literature review of three different approaches: design, social entrepreneurship, and systems innovation. We identified didactic concepts for social-innovation education to guide training and development activities to enhance such competencies, particularly in nonprofit social service organizations. We then integrated and tested these concepts in the codesigned European executive education program Social Innovation Education (SIED). This integration bridges academic discourses in higher education, social service innovation, and professional studies. | ||
