Avec son objet matériel – l’essence de la mission, l’obéissance et l’interculturalité – le sujet est abordé dans la perspective de la signification classique du ius comme ipsa res iusta. L’exercice conclut que la mission est un bien, dû en justice, qui a pour conséquence l’obéissance, tandis que l’interculturalité est une manifestation concrète et pratique de l’obéissance. L’obéissance et l’interculturalité dans la mission placent les fidèles du Christ, chacun selon sa position juridique, dans un réseau de relations. 
520 |a This study explores the juridical interaction of freedom and authority among the People of God, in carrying out the mission of the Church. With its material object – the essence of mission, obedience, and interculturality – the topic is addressed from the perspective of the classic meaning of ius as the ipsa res iusta. The exercise concludes that mission is a good, due in justice, which has obedience as a consequence, whereas interculturality is a concrete and practical manifestation of obedience. Obedience and interculturality in mission put Christ’s faithful, each according to his or her juridical position, in a web of relationships.
