Cependant, l’enseignement magistériel post-conciliaire et les documents juridiques décrivent parfois explicitement le ministère des diacres comme participant à l’enseignement, au gouvernement et à la sanctification des ministres ordonnés. Une approche plus nuancée est apparue dans les contributions d’Alphonse Borras et de Didier Gonneaud. Comme tous les fidèles chrétiens, les diacres participent à la mission d’enseignement, de gouvernement et de sanctification du Christ, en conséquence de leur vocation baptismale. Alors que les diacres participent également aux munera d’enseigner, de gouverner et de sanctifier en vertu de leur ordination, la manière dont les munera sont exercés par les diacres doit être nuancée en raison de la nature non collégiale du rang diaconal des ordres sacrés. | ||
