| 520 | |a Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar críticamente, desde los principios filosóficos de la educación, las propuestas del Banco Mundial para la educación en América Latina y el Caribe después del contexto conocido como las "décadas perdidas" en las dictaduras y la deuda externa latinoamericana resultante de estos años. Los aspectos centrales estudiados en este artículo se refieren al contexto de las políticas educativas en América Latina y el Caribe desde la década de 1980, las nuevas propuestas sociales y educativas del Banco Mundial y el Fondo Monetario Internacional. Finalmente, se identifica que estas han desembocado en una transgresión sistemática a los principios filosóficos de inclusión, calidad, diversidad y democracia en la educación, por lo que se releva la necesidad de fortalecer estos aspectos en atención a los continuos desafíos educativos en el contexto político neoliberal actual. | ||
