| Summary: | As reported in OTF 1 (1983) our Department conducts an information retrieval project through the Institute for Theological Research of UNISA by indexing the abstracts on Old Testament science published in Old Testament Abstracts and Internationale Zeitschriftenschau für Bibelwissenschaft und Grenzgebiete. At present we have about 5000 entries in the system while (roughly) another 1000 will be entered within the next few months. The total of 6 000 will reflect the articles abstracted from periodicals and journals since 1976. We are also making progress with the back numbers of IZBG. When completed the system will allow searches into literature published since 1952. |
