Summary: | This study investigated the predictive power of the Fibonacci Life Chart Method and its correlation with the entropic brain hypothesis in understanding spiritual experiences across different age groups. Utilising case reports from the Alister Hardy Religious Experience Research Centre, this study found significant patterns in the occurrence of spiritual experiences at ages corresponding to the Fibonacci sequence, particularly around age 18. These findings align with the entropic brain hypothesis, which suggests a link between high brain entropy at specific developmental stages and the likelihood of spiritual experiences. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the intersection between mathematical patterns, neurodevelopment, and spiritual experiences, offering new insights into human consciousness and development. This underscores the potential of integrating mathematical models and neurocognitive frameworks to explore spirituality and consciousness. |
