AB The General Decree promulgated by the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life was approved in forma specifica by Pope Francis. It disciplines the length and number of the terms of office of elected leaders and requires the participation of an association's members in the constitution of its central governing bodies. The Explanatory Note that follows the decree was issued in conjunction with the decree.
