We will here only focus on the normative documents issued by the Holy See under the pontificate of Pope Francis. We will analyze the content and juridical target of the pontifical interventions and post-codicial pronouncements of the CIVCSVA that led to changes in the normative text. Throughout all this, the Church has shown its care for a portion of «people of God» that is «the consecrated life». In line with the principle Ecclesia semper reformanda, if consecrated life has to remain meaningful, there is the need of a continuous revision and updating process in order to react to new social and ecclesial situations and challenges. | ||
