A. Borras se pose la question de savoir si, et dans quelle mesure, la lettre de mission est une garantie de légitimité de la mission des laïcs en étudiant l’attribution des offices et des charges dans l’Église. L’expérience du diocèse de Verdun concernant l’évaluation des laïcs en mission ecclésiale, décrite par J.-L. Blaise, est qualifiée de moyen de faire vivre l’Église comme mission et comme communion. Elle permet de prendre conscience des avantages d’une telle évaluation et du besoin de bien définir le rôle des personnes concernées : les laïcs en mission ecclésiale, les référents et les prêtres accompagnateurs. | ||

If the second Vatican Council has brought to light the co-responsibility of lay people based on their Baptism and Confirmation, certain lay people receive as well particular responsibilities often defined in a letter of mission. A. Borras asks himself the question whether, and in what cases, the letter of mission is a guarantee of the legitimacy of the mission by his study of the attribution of offices and charges in the Church.The experience of the diocese of Verdun concerning the evaluation of lay people on a Church mission, described by J.-L. Blaise, is qualified as a means to help the Church live in the framework of the mission as well as communion. This affords the possibility of realizing the advantages of such an evaluation and of the need to define carefully the role of the persons concerned : namely the lay people with an ecclesial mission, those they refer to, and the priests who accompany them. | ||
