| Summary: | L’étude de photographies aériennes prises au niveau de l’ancien faubourg de Daphné lors d’un vol militaire entre Antioche et Lattaquié en 1932 a permis de repérer plusieurs structures monumentales attribuées à la période romaine. L’une d’entre elles, située au nord-est du plateau, pourrait, par son plan et ses grandes dimensions, être identifiée à un ensemble palatial attesté à la fin de l’Antiquité et dont les traces n’avaient jamais été retrouvées, voire même recherchées jusqu’à présent. L’hypothèse proposée pour l’identification de ce complexe repose à la fois sur l’importance de cet ensemble et sur les quelques textes évoquant l’existence du palais à Daphné. The imperial palace at Daphne (Antioch of Syria): a hypothetical location? The study of aerial photographs taken at the height of the antient suburb of Daphne by a military flight between Antioch and Lattakieh in 1932 has permitted to locate several monumental structures of Roman times. By its plan and its large dimensions, one of them, located in the northeast of the plateau, could be identified with a palatial complex attested in the Late Antiquity and whose tracks had yet to be found or searched. This hypothesis is based both on the importance of the complex and on the few texts evoking the existence of the palace in Daphne. القصر الإمبراطوري في دافني (أنطاكية سوريا): فرضية تحديد الموقع؟حددت دراسة الصور الجوية الملتقطة في ضاحية دافني القديمة أثناء رحلة عسكرية بين أنطاكية واللاذقية في عام ١٩٣٢ العديد من الإنشاءات الأثرية المنسوبة إلى العصر الروماني، من بينها مبنى في شمال شرق الهضبة مميز بمخططه وأبعاده، يعتقد أنه عبارة عن مجمع فخم يمكن تحديده إلى نهاية العصور القديمة وآثاره لم تتكشف من قبل أو حتى يجري البحث عنها حتى اللحظة. تستند الفرضية المقترحة لتحديد هذا المجمع إلى أهمية هذه الإنشاءات وعلى النصوص القليلة التي تذكر وجود قصر في دافني. |
