AB En los últimos decenios asistimos a una revitalización del pensamiento agustiniano que se caracteriza por la recuperación del fundamento cristológico, soteriológico y eclesiológico como centro unificador del recorrido existencial, pastoral e intelectual de san Agustín. Los autores protagonistas de esta "quiet revolution" o "revolución silenciosa" dan especial importancia al desarrollo histórico de la doctrina de Agustín. No niegan que en su pensamiento se ha dado una evolución, pero tienden a considerarla de modo más matizado que otros autores. En el artículo se describirá en qué consiste este proceso desde el punto de vista de la teología trinitaria y la teología de la gracia.
AB In the past decades we have seen a revitalization of the Augustinian thought, characterized by the return to its christological, soteriological and ecclesiological foundation as the unifying centre of the existential, pastoral and intellectual path of St. Augustine. The authors of this "quiet revolution" give special attention to the historical development of Augustine's doctrine. They do not deny that there has been an evolution in his thought, but they tend to consider it in a more nuanced way than other authors. The article will attempt to describe this process from the point of view of the trinitarian theology and the theology of grace.
