Description
Summary:The concept of paradox in science is discussed: some apparent paradoxes turn out not to be paradoxes at all whilst others remain paradoxical. The concept of paradox is then applied to two theological ideas: salvation by faith or salvation by works and judgement to heaven / hell or universalism. It is suggested that the issue of salvation by faith / works is not a paradox at all whilst the idea of judgement to heaven / hell or universalism is a paradox.
