Summary: | With the apostolic letter in the form of m.p. Mitis Iudex Dominius Iesus (MIDI), promulgated on 8th of December 2015, where in Pope Francis reformed some aspects of the marriage nullity process, the preliminary pastoral care is seen as one of the fundamental variations of the reform implemented in the context of the dual synodal assembly on the family. Reading the normative text it can be understood how the Church's attention heightened towards parish priests in primis, restored and immediate protagonists of the prejudical pastoral ministry seeings them involved in accompanying, discerning and integrating the conjugal and family frailties which may als require a specific judicial verification of the validity or weakness of a marriage. In this regard we try to focus attention on the parish priest's role and his pastoral - prejudicial tasks as he is called to have a special mission in pastoral activity towards the faithful and particularly for those who are wounded members of their communities, divorced and remarried civilly. In this way we will grasp the important synergy that must be created between judicial pastoral care, implied as an action capable of promoting Christian life, and the response of the pastoral family care in order to bridge the gap between the daily life of the faithful and the Ecclesiastical Court. |
