In the present work, we approach the task of revisiting Gen 2:4b-25 with a philological approach that respects the text in its originality and sheds light on the present. The original design for the human being is an action that develops the world with care. At the same time, the human being himself progresses in and through the "spousal covenant". This covenant is a significant category for understanding human existence, both for structuring society and for understanding its relationship to the Creator. | ||
