AB En este estudio presentamos la figura de Antonio de Lebrija y su vocación bíblica: su formación humanista y conocimiento de lenguas así como su participación en la Biblia Políglota Complutense. Mostramos la relación del cardenal Cisneros con el humanista a través de la Epístola del maestro de Lebrixa al Cardenal. A continuación exponemos los puntos de contacto entre Nebrija y el Novum Testamentum de Erasmo de Róterdam, y finalmente desplegamos modelos o tipos de exégesis presentando las similitudes y dife-rencias entre estos dos últimos.
AB In this study we present the figure of Antonio de Lebrija and his biblical vocation: his humanist formation and knowledge of languages as well as his participation in the Complutense Polyglot Bible. We show the relationship of Cardinal Cisneros with the hu-manist through the Epistle of the Master of Lebrixa to the Cardinal. Next we expose the points of contact between Nebrija and the Novum Testamentumof Erasmus of Rotterdam, and finally we deploy models or types of exegesis presenting the similarities and differ-ences between the latter two.
