This is due not only to the seeming ubiquity of the internet and social media, but also to the intentional and profound change in the way church leaders have employed mass media in the face of accusations against clerics. A proper understanding of the juridical goods at stake depends in part on seeing the important role bona fama has played in a wide variety of times, places, cultures, and juridical frameworks. | ||
