| Résumé: | In this article I analyze two medieval inscriptions on the relics and cult of saint Eulalia of Barcelona. Both inscriptions, dated from the IX and XIV centuries, are located in the cript of Barcelona Cathedral, and they relate the inventio and translatio of the martyr's rests. The aim of my paper is to examine the function of each inscription, focusing on its graphic particularities. En el presente artículo analizaremos dos inscripciones de época medieval relativas a las reliquias y culto de santa Eulalia de Barcelona. Ambos epígrafes, datados en los siglos IX y XIV, se encuentran ubicados en la cripta de la catedral de la ciudad condal y relatan la inventio y translatio de los restos de la mártir. El objetivo de nuestro estudio es examinar la funcionalidad de cada inscripción, atendiendo además a sus particularidades gráficas. |
