| Zusammenfassung: | This work focuses on the creation of the Province of Castile, born out of Catalonia in 1442 within the Carthusian orbit, as well as the role played by some Valencian Carthusians as generals of the Order in said dismemberment, as well as their participation in the general chapter of the Hieronymite Order of 1415 following the story of Dom Civera and Dom Alfaura. A context also marked by the Western Schism and the Caspe Compromise, where the Order founded by Saint Bruno played a prominent role. En este trabajo se incide en la creación de la provincia de Castilla, nacida de la de Cataluña en 1442 dentro de la órbita cartujana, así como en el papel que desempeñaron algunos cartujos valencianos como generales de la orden en dicha desmembración, como también su participación en el capítulo general de la orden jerónima de 1415 siguiendo el relato de los PP Civera y Alfaura. Un contexto marcado, asimismo, por el Cisma de Occidente y el Compromiso de Caspe, donde la orden fundada por san Bruno tuvo un papel destacado. |
