Digitalisierung, Eventisierung und Distanzierung bergen Momente des bewussten Umgangs mit Nähe und Distanz in der Predigt in sich und können so produktiv gestaltet werden. Abgesehen von einer starren Nähe-Distanz-Dichotomie führen die Beispiele zu der Erkenntnis, dass sich Predigt als gelungenes kommunikatives Geschehen in einem multidimensionalen Raum zwischen Nähe und Distanz bewegt. | ||

Koch and Oesterreicher’s communicative model (KOM), which takes account of contextual factors as well as of specific linguistic strategies and establishes a continuum between a language of distance and a language of immediacy, is introduced to take a closer look at three social changes: Digitalisation, eventisation, and distancing include aspects of immediacy and distance and can as such be actively dealt with. Overcoming the idea of a dichotomy regarding immediacy and distance, the examples lead to the conclusion, that successful preaching emanates from a multidimensional process of communication. | ||
