| Summary: | Political preaching involves addressing contemporary political issues by interpreting and referencing Bible texts from the past. This project aims to analyze and compare the understanding and practice of political preaching in the Korean and German contexts, focusing specifically on sermons about climate change. The study examines the authority of the preacher, the perspectives of the listeners, and the role of concise sermon examples. In the Korean homiletic discourse, a particular element known as "Je-hwa" plays a crucial role. These Je-hwa narratives convey the biblical world and the everyday reality of the listeners, greatly enhancing the persuasiveness of the sermon's message. Politische Predigt befasst sich mit gegenwärtigen politischen Themen, basierend auf einem Bibeltext, der in der Vergangenheit geschrieben wurden. In diesem Projekt werden Verständnis und Praxis der politischen Predigt im koreanischen und im deutschen Kontext analysiert und verglichen, und zwar anhand von aktuellen Predigten zum Klimawandel. Neben der Erzeugung der Autorität der Predigtperson, sowie der Sicht der Hörer*innen, wird vor allem die Rolle von prägnanten Predigtbeispielen untersucht. Im koreanischen homiletischen Diskurs haben diese sog. ›Je-hwa‹, die biblische Welt und die Lebenswirklichkeit der Hörenden vermitteln und wesentlich zur Überzeugungskraft der Predigtbotschaft beitragen, eine zentrale Bedeutung. |
