Cultural and religious diversity is an important factor forming the contemporary European identity. Emerging multi-religious identities have a hybrid nature that combines many elements coming from different cultures and religion. Within this type of identity one can distinguish the closed identity, open identity, and identities that are focused on dialogue and ecumenism. |
