| 520 | |a Der Artikel führt die Menschenwürde als ethischen Referenzpunkt für eine Revision des Kirchenrechts ein. Auf der Grundlage einer Analyse des Verhältnisses zwischen Kirchenrecht, Kanonistik und Theologischer Ethik wird die Notwendigkeit einer Menschenrechtshermeneutik für die Normativität diskutiert und begründet. In Verbindung mit einer solchen Menschenrechtshermeneutik wird gezeigt, wie die Menschenwürde einer Revision des Kirchenrechts als ethischer Referenzpunkt dienen könnte. Schliesslich wird ein Ausblick gewagt, wie die Menschenwürde die Kirche so stärken könnte.
