The Synodal Path is dedicated to systemic causes of such abuse at the structural, cultural and spiritual levels of the Church. Two texts which lay the theological foundations for the necessary ecclesiological paradigm shift have already been successfully adopted: the «Orientation Text» and the basic text of the Synodal Forum «Power and Division of Powers in the Church». In it, special attention is paid to the «signs of the times» and the «sensus fidelium». The voice of those affected by clerical abuse must also be perceived as a special «locus theologicus». A Church that wants to be a sacrament of salvation (cf. Lumen Gentium 1) cannot simply act with formal authority, bypassing those who suffer. It must make this salvation recognisable and tangible in its structure, culture and spirituality. | ||
| 520 | |a Depuis 2019, l’Église catholique en Allemagne est engagée dans un «chemin synodal». Cette démarche a été motivée par la découverte d’abus sexuels commis par des membres du clergé. La voie synodale se consacre aux causes systémiques de tels abus au niveau structurel, culturel et spirituel de l’Église. Deux textes ont déjà été adoptés avec succès, qui posent les bases théologiques du changement de paradigme ecclésiologique nécessaire: le «texte d’orientation» et le texte fondamental du Forum synodal «Pouvoir et séparation des pouvoirs dans l’Église». Dans ces textes, une attention particulière est accordée aux «signes des temps» et au «sensus fidelium». La voix des personnes concernées par les abus cléricaux doit également être perçue comme un «locus theologicus» particulier. Une Église qui veut être sacrement de salut (cf. Lumen Gentium 1) ne peut pas simplement agir avec une autorité formelle en passant à côté de ceux qui souffrent. Elle doit rendre ce salut reconnaissable et tangible dans sa structure, sa culture et sa spiritualité. | ||
