A proposta deste trabalho não é definir e sistematizar o vasto campo que compreende a experiência religiosa, mas discutir os elementos que constituem a tradição mística e que refletem a forma na qual os judeus e cristãos primitivos imaginavam tais experiências. | ||

Throughout history, mystical experience frequently holds a connotation of communion or contact with an omnipotent superior being, even an extension of unity with this divine reality. In practice, it has been seen as controversial within philosophical debates regarding the possibility of experimental knowledge of the divinity, or the union of the religious person with the divinity. The objective of this study is not to define and systematize the vast realm of religious experience, but rather to discuss the elements that constitute the mystical tradition and reflect the way Jews and primitive Christians imagined such experiences. | ||
