| Summary: | This article is devoted to the description and analysis of an index of forbidden books from the 16th century, of which only one copy is known. It is a summary of the first index drawn up by the theologians of Louvain and printed in Antwerp in 1546. The work therefore presents a double originality: its abbreviated form and its unique character. The present study contributes to the history of censorship indexes, on the one hand, by retracing the history of this work as well as of the factitious collection that it inaugurates, reported for the first time in the inventory catalogue of the Mazarin Library in 1661, and rediscovered a few years ago; and, on the other hand, by describing and analyzing its contents through its comparison with the original index of Louvain. Four appendixes tables highlight in a concrete and precise manner the double aspect of this study. Cet article est consacré à la description et à l’analyse d’un index de livres interdits du 16e s. dont un seul exemplaire est connu. Il s’agit d’un résumé du premier index élaboré par les théologiens de Louvain et imprimé à Anvers en 1546. L’ouvrage présente donc une double originalité : sa forme abrégée et son caractère unique. L’étude présente contribue à l’histoire des index de censure, d’une part, en retraçant l’histoire de cet ouvrage ainsi que du recueil factice qu’il inaugure, signalé pour la première fois dans l’inventaire de la Bibliothèque de Mazarin en 1661 et réapparu il y a quelques années ; d’autre part, en décrivant et analysant les contenus de cet index à travers sa comparaison avec le catalogue d’origine. Quatre tableaux annexes mettent en lumière de manière concrète et précise le double aspect de cette étude. Dieser Artikel widmet sich der Beschreibung und Analyse einer Liste verbotener Bücher -einem Index- aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, von der nur ein einziges Exemplar überliefert ist. Es handelt sich um eine verkürzte Fassung des ersten, von den Theologen in Löwen erstellten Index, der in 1546 in Antwerpen gedruckt wurde. Die Fassung ist somit in zweifacher Hinsicht von Bedeutung: sie ist eine verkürzte Wiedergabe und ist zudem in dieser Form einzigartig. Die vorgelegte Studie ist ein Beitrag zur Geschichte der Zensurindizes, indem sie zum einen deren Geschichte nachzeichnet, sowie die Schriftensammlung -einen Sammelband an Zensurverzeichnissen sowie Maßnahmen- erschließt, die mit dem vorgestellten Verzeichnis eröffnet wird. Zum ersten Mal wird diese Sammlung 1661 im Inventar der Bibliothek Mazarin aufgeführt, um erst in jüngster Zeit wieder aufgefunden zu werden. Zum anderen beschreibt und analysiert die Studie die Inhalte der Sammlung, indem sie diese mit dem ursprünglichen Verzeichnis, bzw. Katalog, vergleicht. Vier Tabellen bilden den Abschluss und verdeutlichen in konkreter und präziser Weise die zweifache Aussage der Studie. |
