It is worth noting that both in the past and in the present they not just function simultaneously, but also in some cases being in conflict. They were and still are undertaken attempts of erasing this conflict or at least to weaken its significance. In my view, it does not serve well the Roman Catholic Church, and also those who seek other guides for their lives and existence with other people. They weaken the trust towards the Church and the conscience in which existence we believe, or at least want to (no matter the religious affiliation). | ||
