In 2002 Pope John Paul II approved the second law on the Government of Vatican City State: the measure was necessary to transpose the new "Fundamental law", dated November 25, 2000, into the governance system. Today Pope Francis - through the motu proprio "Fin dall 'inizio ", dated November 25, 2018 - introduced a new reform of this sector. The reform points in the direction of a more efficient government, to respond adequately to the needs of modern times. The Vatican City State and its government, in effect, are functional to the needs of the Holy See. | ||
