He uses it to warn against assimilation to conventional values and to set the limits of Judeo-Christian identity (use of a varied vocabulary from the semantic field of purity-impurity). The ethical behaviour approved by James concerning speech are not detached from his concern for the treatment of the poor, nor from the thoughts, emotions, desires, etc. that are born of the heart. This article uses the zones of interaction personality model proposed by Bernard de Gerardon to show the interrelationship between the zone of self-expressive speech (mouth-ears), emotion-fused thought (eyes-heart) and purposeful action (hands-feet) in James' letter. This perspective makes it possible to understand the regulation of the use of language according to the unitary conception of the human being in biblical thought and to understand this Christian writing in a more holistic way. | ||

Se sirve de ella para advertir de no asimilarse a los valores establecidos y delinear los límites de identidad judeocristiana (uso de un vocabulario variado del campo semántico de la pureza-impureza). Los comportamientos éticos aprobados por Santiago con respecto al habla, no se desmarcan de su preocupación por el trato a los pobres, ni tampoco de los pensamientos, emociones, deseos, etc. que nacen del corazón. Este artículo se vale del modelo de las tres zonas de la personalidad propuesto por Bernard de Gerardon para mostrar la interrelación que se da entre la zona del lenguaje autoexpresivo (boca, lengua, oídos), el pensamiento emotivo (ojos-corazón) y la acción premeditada (manos-pies) en la carta de Santiago. Esta perspectiva permite comprender la regulación del uso de la lengua según la concepción unitaria del ser humano en el pensamiento bíblico y entender este escrito cristiano de un modo más integral. | ||
