Next, I raise a discussion to interpret the existence of the evidence provided: the continuity of Catalan in school despite the repression practiced by the political authorities since the beginning of the 18th century. First, the dara are framed in the context of the historical situation of the century, that is, of the Ancien Régime. Then in the context of the political changes that take place at the beginning of the 19th century, with the birth of the new contemporary national state. The conclusion is that the traces of teaching in Catalan at the beginning of the 19th century are the final testimony of historical and political conditions that are vanishing, since in the new Spanish nation only one national language is possible: Spanish. | ||
| 520 | |a En aquest estudi es proporcionen dues menes de dades. En primer lloc, dades sobre textos escolars en català que s’imprimeixen entre 1800 i 1833. En segon lloc, dades de declaracions i testimoniatges sobre la perviviència del català com a llengua docent durant aquests anys. A continuació es planteja un debat per interpretar l’existència de les dades adduïdes: la continuïtat del català a l’escola malgrat la repressió practicada per les autoritats polítiques des de l’inici del segle XVIII. Primer s’emmarquen en el context de la situació històrica del segle, és a dir, de l’Antic Règim. Després en el context dels canvis polítics que tenen lloc a començament del segle XIX, amb la implantació del nou estat nacional contemporani. La conclusió és que els rastres de docència en català de començament del segle XIX són el testimoniatge final d’unes condicions històriques i polítiques que s’esvaeixen, ja que en la nova nació espanyola només és possible una llengua nacional: la llengua espanyola. | ||
